Kimono Design: Ethereal

The purpose of this design was to create an eco-friendly kimono that incorporates elements of my inspiration images through color and symmetrical seams. This design was inspired by naturalistic floral imagery and architectural elements from religious settings. My color scheme consists of a neutral, the dusty pink, and two colors: an earth-toned green and a jewel-toned burgundy. The burgundy and the green are roughly complementary, and the pastel neutral pink provides a tonal contrast without adding another overwhelmingly distinct color. The intended generational cohorts are early millennial/late Gen Z individuals.
